An entrance solution designed for landmark architecture
The Francis Crick Institute in London is one of Europe’s leading biomedical research centres and a landmark of contemporary architectural design. With its glass-fronted façade and open, light-filled spaces, maintaining comfort at the main entrance was essential - without detracting from the building’s distinctive aesthetic.
To meet both design and performance requirements, a Rund air curtain from JS Air Curtains was installed vertically at the entrance. With its sleek, cylindrical form and brushed stainless steel finish, the unit blends seamlessly into the interior while creating an effective barrier against cold draughts.
