JS Air Curtains is launching the most powerful industrial air curtain available in the UK, for use on warehouse and factory doorways up to 7m high. The Windbox XL has a massive maximum airflow of 21,000m3/h and a maximum heat output of 93kW. JS Air Curtains has recently supplied and installed a Windbox 18kW air curtain at the Esprit store in Covent Garden, London. The air curtain was specified for the installation by consulting engineers E&M Tecnica of Surrey.

JS Air Curtains has recently supplied and installed a Standesse air curtain to the Speedo retail outlet in Covent Garden, London. The air curtain creates a barrier of air across the entrance, enabling the shop to leave its front doors invitingly open without allowing in cold air during the winter, or allowing expensive air conditioned air to escape during the summer.

Research has shown that by leaving a shop’s doors open, passing trade can be increased by as much as 40%.

A CoolEffect air curtain installed outside a cold store at Zwetloots Ltd, “The Flower People” in Bedfordshire, has proved virtually 100% effective at sealing the chilled air inside, with the door left open.
