JS Air Curtains is launching the new Standesse air curtain - the most cost-effective and versatile air curtain on the market. Its range of options allows it to be used on any type of public doorway in shops, offices, hotels, etc, as well on cold stores and freezers.

Up to six units can be joined together and regulated from one controller, enabling the Standesse to be used on doorways up to 12m wide. This makes it perfect for stadiums, shopping centres, cinemas and other buildings with large public entrances.

It is available in 1, 1.5 and 2m lengths and can be heated electrically or with low pressure hot water. Alternatively, the Standesse can be offered as a non-heating air-only unit which, due to its powerful fan motors, is ideal for use on chill stores and freezers. In this application no air filter is required making the air curtain virtually maintenance-free.

The Standesse has a whole variety of controller options, which include thermostatic controller, door-open sensor, timer and outside temperature sensor. This last feature regulates the heating on the low-pressure hot water model, varying the temperature of the air output depending on the external conditions. This saves energy by only heating the air curtain to the appropriate level.

The Standesse can be mounted above a doorway up to four metres in height. Its adjustable outlet vanes mean that the air can be directed to maximise the effectiveness of the seal the unit produces across an entrance. The air curtain comes in white as standard but is available in any RAL colour to suit any interior. Also, at under 30dB(A) on its lowest setting, the Standesse is one of the quietest air curtains on the market, making it ideal for use on public buildings.

Each air curtain from JS Air Curtains comes with a three-year warranty as standard and is backed-up with an installation service, if required.
