JS Air Curtains is launching its new JS HeatScreen over-door air curtain that’s ideal for the retail and hospitality sector as it is very economical yet still powerful enough to produce an effective barrier of air across an entrance.

Costing 20% less than its nearest rival, the JS HeatScreen can produce up to 9kW of heat and 1,670m3/h of air flow. This is more than enough to create a barrier of hot air to stop the heat escaping from the entrances of shops, restaurants and any other public doorway up to 2.4m high.

It is available in 90cm, 120cm and 150cm lengths and incorporates fast-acting wire heating elements, which enable the air curtain to reach its operating temperature in less than 10 seconds.

The JS HeatScreen is very easy to install and only requires a single-phase power supply. A handheld remote control comes as standard that gives full control over operation or alternatively it can be operated from the control panel on the front.

The air curtain can be run with or without the heater making it as useful to keep in air conditioned air during the summer as it is at keeping heated air in during the winter.

It also incorporates a safety run-on feature so that when it is turned off after being operated with the heater on, the fan will continue to run for three minutes to dissipate the residual heat from inside the unit.

Each air curtain from JS Air Curtains comes with a two-year warranty as standard and is backed-up with an installation service, if required.
