Architectural Air Curtains JS Air Curtains is offering a bespoke service so that architects can design an air curtain to tie-in with the interior of any room or entrance. JS will produce air curtains from any material, in any colour and any shape to stop cold air entering a heated environment or warm air entering an air conditioned one.

The company also has a wide range of suspension solutions to ensure that an air curtain does not just look great but is also presented in accordance with the style of its surroundings.

JS can include other services into an air curtain, like motion detectors, CCTV or emergency lighting, enabling these features to be hidden or more inline with an interior design. By creating these prefabricated multi-service units, installation times can be reduced by keeping the amount of tradesmen required on-site to a minimum.

The air curtains themselves are easy to install and available in a large range of sizes to suit any application. Unique features include patented lateral air-deflection blades to reduce air ingress around the edges of the doorway, ensuring entrances are kept sealed and draught-free. The units also have a combined air inlet and filter grille, requiring only periodic wipe-clean maintenance that can be carried out by regular cleaning staff.

The control system is easy-to-use and can tie-in with the building management system.

Air curtains are also available for rotating door systems as well as units for keeping chilled air inside cold stores.
